Breathe 4 Tomorrow and the National Autism Association are two Non Profit Organizations which I donate to frequently. I strongly encourage you to at least find out what they are about. If interested in donating please go to their websites which are listed below. Or if you have a Facebook account; join my Causes page for a cool way at recruiting people and contributing to a cause that can help many.  I am trying to work on arranging multiple beneficiaries for my Causes page which means being able to provide for more than one Non Profit Organization; so please bare with me.

We are the Breathe 4 Tomorrow Foundation. We are a designated 501(c)(3) non profit organization dedicated to helping families and individuals in need due to Cystic Fibrosis. We are just getting started so check back often for exciting updates and news. Keep reading to learn more about us and the people we are working so hard to help.

No one should ever have to choose between the health of their child and everyday needs. When a doctor stands there and tells you that your child needs a specific medicine to live, no matter the cost, you will get them their medicines. To many, the cost is more than any of us will understand. Mortgage payments having to be used for medications, or credit cards maxed out on prescriptions. Your other children going without so your baby can breathe.

BREATHE 4 TOMORROW FOUNDATION was founded to “make life for those living with Cystic Fibrosis easier one breath at a time.” We plan to do so by helping with the financial struggles families face when dealing with Cystic Fibrosis. We can’t put a price tag on it, nor can we begin to describe the stresses that go along with the terrible disease. Unfortunately, with many assistance programs there is this “gap”. The “gap” consists of the people who make too much to be eligible for assistance, but not enough to make it, and have to struggle. We both have been supporters of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for years, but after watching many of our fellow CFers die from this horrible disease, we both feel that it is important to have a quality of life while you are here. We are all hoping and praying for a cure, but while we are waiting, it is very important to make sure that we take care of our CF community and do all we can to make sure they are getting the medications they need and that the additional financial costs are not something that is worried about.

We are going to change the lives of our children with CF by offering scholarships, so they can live their “dreams” and have something to work towards. Going through high school with an incurable illness, you are faced with many different obstacles and stresses. We want to reward these wonderful and strong young adults, because they deserve it.

Lastly, BREATHE 4 TOMORROW wants to raise awareness about organ donation. Aaron Greene, one of the co-founders, is here today because of an organ donor. If we can get just one person to become an organ donor, that is one life we may have saved. One person who may be breathing a little easier because we founded this organization.

Today, 1 in 91 individuals is diagnosed with autism, making it more common than pediatric cancer, diabetes, and AIDS combined.

I can almost promise you know someone affected, as my brother has Asperger Syndrome.

-----------------------

The National Autism Association helps those with autism by:

- funding important scientific research to determine the cause of autism to prevent it in the future and treat those with autism now

- provide a Helping Hand grant program that gives money to families of autistic individuals in need – helping them pay for treatments and other critical services, that without us, would not be possible

- fund the FOUND program - providing lifesaving wristbands to individuals with autism who are at risk of wandering

- fund a Family First program that provides counseling services to families who are threatened by divorce thus disrupting very vulnerable children’s treatments and services

- lead national and statewide advocacy efforts to urge our lawmakers in Congress and legislatures to provide sorely needed autism research money, write new policy and uphold education laws to help those in need.
